Edg'rrr packed a duffle bag full of new clothes. His stay, while relaxing, wasn't helping him cope with the events that transpired. The attack on Starbase Four Hundred. His kidnapping of himself technically. The insane machine with its twisted thoughts. Courage.

He pondered on the thought of his one friend. How he gave its life for his in vein. He clutched a folded uniform letting a few tears fall onto it. A chime sounded as Edg'rrr straightened himself up. "Ahem. Come in.". It was the supervisor that found him on the beach. "Ah. Come to see me off?"

"Come to check dat headspace mon. Ye feeling better?". Said the supervisor as Edg'rrr nodded.

"Like a house made of sticks.". Said Edg'rrr chuckling a bit. Yet the supervisor could see his face welling up trying to keep a composure.

"Unfortunately the one thing we can't do 'ere is take that kind of pain away. It is good to let it out though. Brings up good times ye had. Feel fortunate you had a chance ta be in dis life to meet them.". Said the supervisor patting Edg'rrr's shoulder.

"Thanks Max. I will.". Said Edg'rrr as he sparked up a bit in expression. "Oh is there anything yet from HQ or Four Hundred?". Max shook his head.

"Nah. We tryin' all frequencies and nothing. The Dahl'hevva did make contact and wanted to let everyone know that they not going straight towards Starbase Four Hundred afterwards. Previous orders had them outbound towards the Alpha Quadrant.". Said Max as Edg'rrr gave a sigh. Yet perked up to a thought.

"So we may be going near DS Nine? On a retrofitted Inquiry class? That might be a sight to see.". Said Edg'rrr. "I just hope the crew of the Rosalind will be alright."

"Captain Osmond mentioned they're going on a separate ship back to Sol. Dun' know much but whatevah they 'ave we don't have we don' 'ave facilities for.". Said Max with a little reluctance in his tone.

"Hope they'll be alright. I do need to thank you for everything.". Said Edg'rrr smiling.

"It what we do.". Said Max as they both laughed. Hours later after Edg'rrr stepped onto the transporter pad. He pondered on something else. His mirror self was successful. Should she return she will bring more trouble than this time. The entire Empire will. Starfleet needs to be warned. Everyone needs to prepare. The fight might've only just begun. The ship turned away from the planet before departing into the unknown.
