Once Ryne was secured in Sickbay and under guard, Vercetti had left to return to his restaurant leaving Bremer and Seven of Nine.
"You look tired?" Bremer asked.
"I'm fine. Once I get Ryne to the Rangers, I plan to take a needed break." She flashed a slight smile.
"How about a drink then?" Bremer suggested.
Seven nodded, "I could use a drink." She paused, then added, "I'm just not interested in being around a lot of people at the moment."
"I know just the place." Bremer replied with a smile.
A few minutes later the two stepped into Holo-Suite 2. The program was already running.
"What is this place?" Seven asked as they walked through the door.
"Welcome to Cheers." Mike replied. "It's a recreation of a television show from the 1980s, with a few additions from its real world counter part in Boston.
Seven looked around, "Tom Paris had an affinity with old television and moves on Voyager." As she looked around her mind drifted back to her time on Voyager.
Mike walked up to the bar and took a seat, a moment later Seven sat down on the stood beside him.
"Admiral! Welcome back,
As Seven looked around, another man came through the door. "Afternoon everybody."
"Norm!" Everyone replied, including Mike, while Seven looked around confused.
"What'll you have?" Coach asked Bremer and Seven.
"Probably something wet, in a glass, with a nice amber color." Norm said with a smile as he took his usual seat at the bar.
"I think they call those things...beer?" Cliff added with a laugh.
"Yeah, that's it, a beer. I'll take one of those myself." Norm added.
Mike smiled, "Beer please Coach."
"Aaand, for your beautiful friend?" Sam asked as he walked up behind them and around to bar as he eyed Seven.
"Whisky, neat. Make it a double." Seven replied straight forward.
Sam winked, "Coming right up."
Diane was passing by with a tray of empty glasses, "Never mind Sam, he's harmless....most of the time."
"Yeah don't worry about him darlin, ol' Sammy doesn't mean any harm." Coach added.
Sam set the beer down in front of Mike and a tall shot of whisky in front of Seven. "Yeah, sure, no harm at all." Sam replied with a smile. "A friend of the Admiral's in a friend of mine."
At the other end of the bar, Norm looked over at Cliff, "Think Sam came on a little strong there? Some woman don't like that."
"Nah." Cliff said, "In the uh, matting rituals, I prefer to the be ah, aggressor. Women love it." Cliff flashed a cocky smile.
"What women?" Carla said from behind the two bar flies.
Cliff's smile disappeared.
Norm sat his empty glass down on the bar.
"What would you say to another beer there Normy?" Coach asked.
"Hi there sailor, going my way?" Norm replied with a smile.
"Don't be so hard on Mr. Clavin, some men will don't strange things to get the girl they like." Woody said.
"Yeah, and in Cliff's case he'll inflate it." Carla replied.
Seven of Nine nearly spit her drink out, not expecting a comment like that.
Mike couldn't help but to smile. "Want another?"
Seven set her glass down, "Yes, hit me again."
"Another double, coming right up beautiful?" Sam replied with a smile.
"She said 'hit me', not 'hit on me' Sam." Diane commented as she walked by.
Sam smiled, poured the shot and handed it to Seven.
Seven took the shot, drank it, then stood up, "Thank you Admiral for the drinks, and thank you for not engaging in idle chat."
Mike cocked his head to the side. "Are you okay?"
Seven paused a moment, "Apologies. I am, I'm just tired."
"Then I'll arrange quarters for you on the Station, at least for tonight. Go get a good night's sleep. Ryne will be fine in custody and I'll have some supplies delivered to La Sirena for you. When you're ready to leave, we'll have Ryne beamed aboard and secured." Mike gave a reassuring smile.
Seven gave a thankful nod. "Thank you Mike."
Mike nodded then stood, "And, if you ever want to try Starfleet again, I know a few Admirals that'll write recommendations to go along with Admiral Janeway's this time."
Seven smiled, "Thank you. I'll keep that in mind for the future. Maybe one day I'll be ready to build a legacy in Starfleet."
Both Bremer and Seven gave respectful nods, thanked Sam and the gang at Cheers, then left the holo-suite.
