Episode 116 - "A Bounty of Trust"
Location: Mess Hall
Timeline: MD3 1800 hrs
Sam was lurking around the air locks, just checking out some of the other ships that were in the area. You couldn't help it be mesmerized by some of the other ships in the fleet, wondering would it be like to fly some of them. Of course there was always a special place in his heart for the Falcon. He did not notice somebody coming up behind him.
Sarah stood behind Sam a smile on her face. She had been so busy since they had gotten off the ship that lately it seemed the most time they had spent together was when they got home at night to sleep. She had checked and found out he wasn’t on anyone’s schedule so she has cleared herself for an evening together with him.
“I am looking for a man named Sam Carrington.” She said with a smile.
"If this security I haven't seen him. If it's anyone else I might know where to find them for the right price." Sam said in a teasing grin. Then he went on to say, completely playing around. "If you're a pretty lady I'll tell you for a kiss, if you're a dude you can give me a hundred bars of latinum." He said expecting Sarah to give him a kiss.
Sarah walked up to him and put her hands on his shoulders, she kissed him, letting him know she has missed him.
"I miss you too baby." Sam said with a big looking smiling face, when he turned around and look into those beautiful eyes of hers.
“I’m off tonight.” Sarah informed him. Please tell me you are off work as well.”
"I am, I was hoping to run into you. Save me a trip from going home to get you." Sam suggested to her with a smirk.
“Great minds think alike.” Sarah said with a smile. “It is time for us. I took tomorrow off.”
"Someone is being devious I love it. I have tomorrow off too." Sam said with a big grin.
Sarah hugged him tightly. “I am so excited! A whole day just for us to do whatever we want to.”
"maybe we can steal a runabout and go galloping across the stars for the day." Sam said in a teasing voice.
“Wouldn’t that be fun.” Sarah’s eyes lit up. “Seriously!”
"No, the closest will ever get to that is the holodeck." Sam said with the big grin on the face.
“That is promising.” Sarah said with a smile. “We could plan a trip for the day tomorrow if we can get one to use.”
"I'm pretty sure one of us can get a reservation, if that's what you want to do." Sam said, not wanted to speak for her. He did though want to put the suggestion into her head in case she was interested.
“I am torn between the holodeck and just staying in and be alone the two of us.”
"You're making this very challenging, pardon Me loves the idea of us as being alone together but part of me also knows that there will be plenty of time to do that either first thing in the morning or into the early evening. How often do we have a chance to have an adventure together?" Sam planted out to her, most of time they're always on some kind of a mission and he was flying the ship and She would be on the planet side or in command.
“Then let’s come up with a holodeck trip.” Sarah said with a smile. “Something we both want to do.”
"Do you have something in mind?" Sam asked, he was willing to do anything. Joy riding across the galaxy, a stroll on the beach. Anything she wanted, as long as she was with him.
“I would like to spend the day on the ocean in a cabin.” Sarah said. “With a town close in case we want to go there.” Her eyes lit up. “To wake up to the sun rising over the water. “
"I don't think we can reserve a holiday entire day, unless you're talking about maybe I wanted to see if we can take a small trip to the nearby planetary system." Sam said it with the big room on his face, cuz it probably mean they have to reserve a shuttle, which means he'd be able to fly.
"I like the small trip idea." Sarah smiled. "There is something intimate about you flying us there and back."
"Alright, a road trip. Too bad you don't have two days off in a row, we can make the most of this." Sam said with the grin on his face, knowing that he could take an extra day off.
“I can get the extra day.” Sarah said with a smile. “They offered me two but I wasn’t sure about your schedule so I told them I’d wait.”
"You can? You are not messing with me?" Sam said with a big smile on his face.
"Yes." Sarah smiled. "I'll send a message off now." She was looking forward to that.
Sam smiled as scene starts to fade away. He really love the idea of been spending two days together, alone an uninterrupted.
Sarah sent off the message and smiled as she received confirmation immediately. She was looking forward to their time together.
