Mission:
Episode 115 - Planting for the Future
Location: Messhall - USS Tikhov
Timeline: MD1, 10:30hrs
Before leaving the Tikhov to head back to her quarters on Starbase 400, Deezell to the time to sit with her favourite coffee, a Spanish Cortado, in the very spacious Messhall aboard the Tikhov. It wasn't her favourite coffee until she was joined. It had been a favourite of Raekwon's but he took a liking to it because of Vox's second host, Azrel, who was in Starfleet in the late 2260's.
She sat in one of the comfortable chairs by the large windows and stared out into the vastness of space. It had been a long day and, although she had never really been fond of sonic showers, one when she got back to her place was looking more and more welcoming.
Being so busy she had not had the time to meet up with K'Lara, who was also just as busy. But, recent rumours had been circulating that K'Lara might be getting transferred to another station and this unnerved Dee considerably. The last thing she wanted was to loose K'Lara and from the experiences she now possessed from her previous hosts, she knew all to well how most long distance relationships ended.
She really didn't want K'Lara to become as distant as a small star she could just see with her naked eyes in the distance through the window. But, if she was to be transferred, there was little she could do about it. She knew it was getting late but she it was worth a try.
She tapped her combadge. =^=Vox to Fulvinia, K'Lara are you free to talk? =^=
=^= Of course I am, love. I'll be with you in a few minutes. Don't stare too hard when I get there, alright? =^= K'Lara's tone was teasing as she spoke; the commbadge call terminated as quickly as she'd answered. It didn't take her long to show up at Dee's location; she seemed to have just come from the gym, dressed in a dark purple sports bra and yoga pants that displayed her curves deliciously. "What's up? You seemed pretty worried." She quipped.
"Well I am worried. I have gotten things just how I want them now on Starbase 400 and the last thing I want is for it all to fall apart like a massive game of Jenga. Basically, I have heard some rumours and your name came up. I am sure it's not true but I have found, from experience, that its best to ask directly about such things rather than get verification from second hand sources. So, I will just come with it directly. Are you getting transferred to another Starbase? and if so, was it voluntary as in you actually asked for it, or is an order from command?" Dee looked at her. She was hoping the rumours were just that, rumours but until she heard what K'Lara had to say, she could not settle and be at ease.
