On:

Commander Coleman was sitting on the Bridge of the USS Endeavor as the docking procedures were underway at Docking Port 16. Most of the time, docking procedures were easy and routine, but for Coleman, something felt off as the ship was beginning its docking procedures.

Coleman couldn't quite place what he was feeling in that exact moment, but you know the feeling you get in the pit of your stomach to tell you that something was wrong? That's the exact feeling that Coleman was getting as the final procedures were being completed and the docking was coming to an end.

Coleman headed down towards his quarters onboard the Endeavor to pick up the overnight bag that he had packed for the mission. Before he finished up packing, Coleman heard overhead that the Admiral wanted all the senior staff to come straight to operations on Deck One. While it could've been a post mission report that the Admiral wanted to get done, Coleman wasn't entirely sure.

Heading towards the umbilical connection tethering the Endeavor to the Starbase, Coleman walked across it and hopped onto the nearest turbolift straight to Deck one. "Deck One, direct route," Coleman told the computer, which it responded back with two consecutive beeps. It didn't take long for Coleman to find himself on the bridge of the Starbase and quickly realize why he was feeling uneasy.

Something was abuzz in the nerve center for Starbase 400. He wasn't sure exactly was going on, but Coleman could sense something was quickly unfolding around him. Coleman quickly saw someone that he hadn't seen in quite some time, but it was good to see her.

Captain Ezri Dax of the USS Aventine, a Vesta-Class Starship equipped with Starfleet's Quantum Slipstream drive, was standing at one of the science stations on the outskirts of Ops. Coleman realized that she was working some of the readouts, trying to figure something out and he came to take the empty seat next to her, as he waited for the rest of the senior staff to get there.

"Captain Dax, it's good to see you again. What has it been? Like, two hundred years since we last spoke?" Coleman said, a wry smile on his face as he was hoping he didn't come across as too cocky or anything. He was hoping that Captain Dax remembered him from when Ezri Dax was Tobin Dax.

Coleman had met Tobin back in the 22nd century, while the engineer was working on some components for Earth Starfleet and their warp 5 program. They were having several issues with making fine tune adjustments and Tobin had been called in to help solve some of those programs along with Coleman. But, it was mainly Tobin's ideas that helped fix the problems and keep the program running.

Dax looked over and gave a slightly confused look and thought about why Coleman's face seemed so familiar. However, once it clicked, she smiled widely and said, "It's good to see you old friend. It truly has been too long since we last spoke!"

The two of them hugged for a moment before catching up for a few moments. Ezri explained a bit about what was going on, but she was confused about some of the readings that everyone was getting. Looking over the data that had been collected thus far was far from conclusive. However, Coleman knew why he was feeling so uneasy when he came over from the Endeavor.

Nobody knows time issues like an El-Aurian.

Whatever was going on with the timeline was creating fissures and allowing ships from the 22nd century through the 32nd century to come through to the current moment. It was creating a bit of havoc, but it hadn't caused too much panic yet.

Coleman knew something was amiss, but wasn't sure what yet. He knew he had to wait to figure it out, but whatever it was, it was going to be sticky.
