Timeline: MD1 - 1050 hrs

Ariana smiled as she sat with her husband and children, every time she had to go off station and leave them she made a point of spending extra time with them when she came back.

“It’s so nice to be home!” Ariana smiled as she looked towards Cameron.

"Yes it is love and it is even nicer to see our little family growing and safe.". Said Cameron as he looked through their messages.

“Indeed” Ariana smiled as she looked down at their sleeping son, before looking to Stacie. “Glad to be home sweetheart?” She smiled as she watched their daughter enthusiastically playing with her toys now she was home from nursery.

“Yes mummy!” The smile on Stacie’s face said just how much she’d missed home, and her favourite choice of toys.

Ariana looked back towards Cameron noting him reading the messages. “Anything important?”

"Mostly looks like junk though there are a couple periodicals that might be interesting psychology monthly and custom mechanics. Other then that and a couple messages for you looks like it is nothing important.". Said Cameron as he put the stack of padds down. He looked over at Ariana and then down to Stacy and wandered not for the first time how he had gotten so damn lucky.

“I’ve no doubt there’s a lot of Counselling reports to go through, but I’m sure Olivia has been handling things nicely while I was off station.” Ariana smiled as she turned to look at Cameron. “What? Why are you looking at us like that?”

"Just trying to understand how I managed to get the most beautiful woman in the quadrant and two perfect kids. I have to be about the luckiest guy alive and to think it all started because I gave a pregnant woman a ride on Cardassia." Said Cameron absently

Ariana smiled the biggest smile yet as she looked over at Cameron. “I think I’m the lucky one. I thought I was going to be spending my life alone before I met you.”

"We both got very lucky that day and I would not have changed anything about it and the life we are building here." Said Cameron as he pulled ariana onto his lap while she still held their son and just held them both. Come what may this right here this was worth all the trouble and was something he would fight and if need be die to protect

“I still find it amazing that I happened to meet the very man who turned out to be the anonymous donor my husband chose in order for us to have a baby!” Ariana smiled. “That had to have been a statistical improbability. Yet here we are happily together for the rest of our lives.”

Just at that moment Bremer’s voice came over the comms. “Senior Staff report to Ops at once.”

“Sounds like duty calls!” She offered Cameron an apologetic smile, kissing their son and daughter goodbye, she gave Cameron a romantic kiss before she headed out of the door.
