Mission: Episode 110 - An Endeavor in Discovery
Location: Starbase 400
Timeline: MD2 - 1530hrs

ON:

K'Temoc and Rann stepped out of the turbolift on Level 7 and walked toward K'Temoc's Office.

"...and Starfleet wants us to send a ship to make sure?" K'Temoc asked.

"Yes, well, no. It's coming from Commodore Oh actually. The Third Fleet is being assigned to the Beta Quadrant with their area of operations spread out from the Ares Operations Theater's 'southern' border down, including the Federation/Gorn border. They'll be based out of Xavier Fleet Yards, but it'll be a few weeks before they're able to get patrols along the border." Rann explained as he showed a map of the area on his PADD.

"In the meantime, we pick up the slack." K'Temoc replied sarcastically. "What did Mike said?"

"Same thing you did, but, for us to handle it." Rann replied.

K'Temoc nodded, "Okay, I'll have the Falcon, Buccaneer, and Yorktown head down there, sweep along the Gorn border, and make sure they have all of their assets out of the border zone, and that the station they were building just within Federation space during the war is being dismantled."

Rann handed K'Temoc the PADD. "I'll let Starfleet know." He gave a respectful nod then turned back toward the lift.

K'Temoc tapped his commbadge, "Commanders Bagwell and Grian please report to my office."

Grian, who was aboard the Buccaneer, received the call. Tapping her combadge =∆= On my way sir. =∆= It didn't take Grian long before she was pressing the door chime on K'Temoc's office.

Ezekiel was with Anna, in their quarters on the station. They were just discussing the Admiral, when he called in. =∆=On my way sir.=∆= Ezekiel simply said, as he looked to Anna, and then left the room. He wondered if he had another mission for them already.

It did not take Ezekiel very long to get the ready room of Admiral Bremer. He noticed Grain approaching around the same time. As he made eye contact with her, he tapped on the intercom. Waiting for the admiral to let them in.

"Enter." K'Temoc said after the chime faded. He had a PADD waiting for each of them and he motioned for Grian and Bagwell to take seats.

"Thank you both for coming, I hope I didn't pull you for anything important." K'Temoc started.

"No Sir. Just carrying out routine updates and maintenance." Grian replied

K'Temoc looked over at Bagwell.

"Nothing that can not wait, my crew and no doubt Commander Grain's crews are itching to leave the station." Ezekiel said, with a big grin on his face. He needed to talk to K'Temoc later on, about marrying him off to Anna. Right now though, he was hoping for a mission.

"I guess we'll get right to it. Starfleet is still in the process of re-deploying it's assets. Several older ships that were pulled out of mothballs and recommissioned during the war are being pulled back into reserve. In the meantime, the Third Fleet is being sent to the Beta Quadrant and their area will be spread out from the Ares Operations Theater's 'southern' border down, including the Federation/Gorn border. They'll be based out of Xavier Fleet Yards, but it'll be a few weeks before they're in position. In the meantime, Commodore Oh wants the Falcon, Buccaneer, and Yorktown to head down there and patrol. A few things we'll be looking out for are incursions into Federation space by any Typhon Pact ship not on a diplomatic mission, pirate activity...raids, plundering battle sites that haven't been cleaned up yet, leftover minefields, distress calls that somehow were missed, etc. A full brief will be sent to you. Questions?" K'Temoc looked at the officers.

"None at present Sir. " Grian replied.

"The Falcon is ready to go. How long do we have before we go on deployment sir?" Ezekiel asked, as he made a mental note to get the crew back on the ship and to recall any and all shore leave. The ship was ready, hejust needed to get the ship ready as well.

"I echo this question Sir. We have just completed some improvements to the Buccaneers long range sensors we would be eager to test them and yes we will share them with the Falcon. " She added before Ezekiel had the chance to comment.

"I'd like to see both ships depart within the next few hours...before we get a 'nasty-gram' from Oh." K'Temoc replied. "The Yorktown will be departing within the hour."

Commander Rann handed out another PADD to the men. "Here's your assigned areas. The Yorktown is assigned to the area around the Tyrus system, that includes the location of the incomplete Gorn base. They should have three ships there dismantling it. The Falcon is assigned to the area between Cestus and Bellatrix along the Gorn border, and the Buccaneer is assigned to the area around the Thanatos system which includes a battle site along the Federation border."

K'Temoc looked at the PADD then at the Commanders. "Good hunting."

K'Temoc stood as everyone left the office and headed for their ships.
