Chuck McDaniel quickly entered his little ship the Full Boar and headed out over the Kaleb system for a nightly patrol. It was something he had done for years. Picking up the 3 watch.

With the vanquished gone his perimeter check went by quickly and returning to base he glided his eagle like vessel back to its stall.

For the old guard rituals like this were important and to Chuck even more so as he got older. No longer a husband or father all that remained for him was his new puppy Cadet. A red bone hound Cadet guarded his quarters and had become his companion these days.

" Cadet come," Chuck called followed by the pet jumping up on him all joyed. " Cadet place." the pet sat.

Walking to the side of the craft Chuck found a snack and fed his buddy a treat.

" Cadet let's go." Chuck said walking to the lift but then paused to take another look at the Full Boar.

" We need to go do some hunting . " Chuck said low so as not to offend anyone against hunting. He then walked into the lift and rode it to his deck and quarters where he fed Cadet and then himself.
