Mission: Episode 108 – Tragedies, Fortunes, and an Endgame
Location: Saunder's Ship/Dreggs/USS Cutlass
Timeline: MD3 - 2000hrs

ON:

The USS Cutlass decloacked and started to beam over the contents of Saunder's ship's cargo bay. Besides the gel there were cases or weapons, spare parts, and other items. Once secured they beamed over the crew into the brig.

Roebuck and Carter escorted Saunders to the cockpit of the small ship. Then they turned and jumped to warp heading back to Dreggs. The Saber class USS Cutlass followed, firing phasers. She hit the smaller ship a few times causing very minor damage but scorching the hull.

"Can you tell you people to avoid the port wing? It also has damage from out last job we didn't get repaired." Saunders asked.

Carter looked at Roebuck, then relayed the message to the Cutlass.

The small Ju'Day wiggled in its course as the larger Saber class ship followed but didn't try to over take it.

"When we land, La’tal will send guards to find out why we're back." Saunders said. "Take it easy, they'll take us right to La’tal."

Carter looked at Roebuck for a moment. "You sure we can trust him? Why don't we just take him into custody now and work the leads we have."

"The buyer might go deeper into hiding, and will undoubtedly try again. This is our best play." Roebuck replied.

"I'll stay out of site and follow." Kanan said.

A few moments later, Saunders ship dropped out of warp and entered the asteroid field. The Cutlass also dropped out of warp and stayed outside of the field.

"Land where you were before. We have a shuttle there we can use if we need to." Roebuck said.

Saunders nodded as the craft neared Dreggs. Suddenly the comm beeped.

"Saunders, what are you doing back so soon?" La'tal's voice didn't hide her irritation.

"We ran into a Federation ship, we need to talk." Saunders replied.

"Come to my office. I'll have someone at the bay too meet you." La'tal replied as the channel closed.

A moment later the small vessel landed. A Nausican and a Klingon were there waiting. Saunders, Roebuck and Carter stepped off the ship and led them to La'tal's office in the Snake Pit. Kanan followed them at a distance.
