Percy was very excited to be assigned as the CEO. on board the USS Yorktown a defiant class ship.

He started to pack a few things knowing that space on board was limited so he just grabbed the essentials things. Once he had finished packing he took his pad and swiped through the ships library to find the defiant class of n the data base and started Studying it’s Lay-out so he would find his around the ship without getting lost.

“I wouldn’t get lost by small vessel like a defiant class” he thought “but I would never know until I am on board. It is better to have fresh in mind just in case” he further thought and continued on with studies of the all the engineering schematic of the ship to get feel for the ship and an understanding how it all work.

He then started a recording to his sister Anabell which he has a very close relationship.

“ Hi Sis how are You, Mom and Dad. You would never believe me. My superior Commander Admiral K'Temoc asked me to be his Chief of Engineering and assigned me to his ship. It is like a dream come true. You know how I was dream of being a Chief haha and worked hard to graduate to join Starfleet. I hope we can see in your person one day Sis love you lots your Percy. “

Percy,

That was just fine. You did well. Sometimes, you can move your own personal story along through the "Personal Log". So, you could also do a very similar kind of post and use the personal log feature. I like the personal log because one is a bit freer to explore what your character is thinking and doing and you are much safer inside of that limited, contained story tool. Your post here is just fine as well I think.
