ON:

K’Temoc and Danielle walked hand in hand as they road the turbolift up to the Bridge of the USS Pegasus. Once there, they walked to the Ready Room and tapped the chime.

“Enter.” Bremer called.

K’Temoc and Danielle walked in and just smiled at Mike.

“Did you two have a good trip to Earth?” Mike asked.

“It was brief, but well worth it.”Danielle said with a big smile.

Mike set the PADD he was reading down and looked at this brother and Danielle for a moment. “What happened?”

“Well, “ K’Temoc said as he rubbed his chin with his left hand.

“What’s on your finger?” Mike said as he stood.

“It was spontanius. Christopher was my best man.” K’Temoc said with a smile.

Mike gave his brother then his new sister-in-law hugs.

“Christopher said to give his Daddy a hug too.” Danielle said, “He was so cute in his little tux.”

“I’m happy for you both, really.” Mike said, “I wish I could have been there.”

“So do I, but we weren’t sure when we’d get the chance again, with the war and all.” K’Temoc replied.

Mike nodded. “Go spend time with your new bride, we’re going to be going home in the next couple of day.”

K’Temoc knew what Mike meant as he and Danielle left to return to the USS Yorktown.


Starbase 23, ‘Joe’s Bar’

Tom sat sipping his drink. “Did you reboot it?”

“Three times.” Vito said, “Damn thing still looks like you.”

“I can’t do it, I can’t go back aboard that ship is every damn hologram looks like me or you. I don’t know who the hell I’m talking to.” Tom replied.

“Cristóbal told you…”Vito started.

Tom held his hand up, “Don’t do it, don’t say it.”

Metsker happened to be just down the bar from Tom and Vito and was listening to them. He decided to walked over, “Having trouble with a hologram?”

“Yeah, I bought a ship, finally. A beautiful Kaplan F17 Speed Freighter. I even popped for the holo package, but the EMH and all the other holo-crew look either like me or Vito. Damn computer just modeled them after us and we can’t seem to change it.” Tom explained.

“I know how to help. A buddy of mine got one just before the war started. Took him a month to purge the database, but with the Starbase’s diagnostic systems here we should be able to do it in a couple of days.” Metsker replied.

“You help us get that fixed and you’ll get free drinks at my restaurant for life, once we’re back on SB400.” Tom replied as Metsker smiled.
