Mission: Episode 104 - A Glimmer of Hope...
Location: Lounge
Timeline: MD01 2100 hrs

"What a day?" Samuel said to himself, as he walked into the lounge of the USS Falcon. He was eager to relax a little bit. It would be some time before the fleet would be in position. He looked over to bartender. And then noticed Aubrey approaching. No doubt she was hear to see Dustin, the chief of security. Those two where very chummy together.

“Hey,” Aubrey said with a smile. “What are you up to?” She was supposed to meet up with Dustin but he had gotten waylaid.

"Having a cold one, waiting on Dustin?" Samuel asked, as he took a small sip of his beer. The frothy beverage, tasted pretty good. The replicator, had gotten better, and replicating the affects of alcohol.

“He may show up,” Aubrey admitted. “What about you, Sarah coming?”

"Suppose to be here soon, we both wanted to get a drink, before calling it a night." Samuel said, thinking how he just wanted to get some rest, and be prepared, but at the same time, he did not want to be considered an old man.

“Relax a little before you turn in?” Aubrey replied. “I want to go home and put a movie on and just relax but I promised Dustin I’d meet up.”

"That does sound nice, to sit back watching a movie. I'm not real good at picking out romantic movies, any suggestions?" Samuel asked, hoping to surprise Sarah tonight, with a romantic comedy.

“I am afraid you picked the wrong person to ask,” Aubrey replied. “I go for the action adventure movies myself. Does she like sappy romance or one mixed with some angst in it?”

"Action girl huh, did not see that you that way. But I guess I can see an engineer being an action pack type of lady." Samuel said, with a big grin.

“I like romance if it is mixed with some action,” Aubrey confessed. “Give me a guy who can sweep me off my feet and a few moments later come out with guns blazing.”

"Dustin is real lucky." Samuel said, with a big grin. She was to much woman for him, he liked the romantic cuddly type.

“I think we are all lucky,”Aubrey said with a smile. “We have good relationships.”

"I'll drink to that." Samuel said, as the scene starts to fade away.
