On their trek to aquire the clipper ship Korel, H'rall and young Skye found themselves out running a shadow vessel. In order to ditch it Korel ordered H'rall to set a new course for the rogues world known as Pirates Haven. By luck they would acquire items needed to free the craft from an attached mine holding it in place in a system called Smugglers Cove.
"Entering Pirate Havens orbit. We need to sit down Korel." H'rall stated.
"Ok but land somewhere outside of one of the large provinces. We need to trade and run."
“Give me an hour,” Skye told them as she retrieved some items from her backpack before pulling it on. She appeared completely untroubled at the thought of venturing out into the less than civilised outpost. “I know some people who know some people. Just keep us ready to fly.”
H'rall meowed but Korel seemed troubled.
"I will give you the hour. Here is a half bar of pressed latinum for expenses."
“We can settle up when I get back,” she assured him as they set down with a bone jarring bump. No need to explain how rare it was for her to ever actually pay for something, was there. “Keep an eye out for your friends.”
Korel nodded.

There were so many words to describe one of the havens for pirates in this system. Bazaar, open air or down right scandelous just to name a few. What was there was a wonderous mechanical shop of engineers from numerous races.
Walking into the town behind Skye, H'rall and Korel looked like the scavengers they were evolving into.
"Tellarite or Ferengi?" H'rall asked Korel.
"Tellarite first. I want the shuttle upgraded." Korel replied. " Then you can get your gamble fix."
The Tellarite repair bay looked to be as advanced as any in the universe. Korel wasted no time making a deal with the Tellarite and then they moved on to the Ferengi.
Skye, for her part, ducked out of the bay to be faced with a haphazard maze of merchants and alleys which did not scream ‘this way to safety’. Ducking under the arm of a burley trader she cut down the second such alley, which was barely wide enough for one person to walk down. Eventually she came to a weatherbeaten red door which she pushed open, causing a little bell to ring somewhere out back.
She stood just inside the doorway, studying the seemingly chaotic collection of computer equipment. If you needed to build, upgrade or just get lost for days, this was a treasure trove.
“Back so soon?” an elderly woman asked as she shuffled her way towards the newcomer. “No refunds! It says so on the door.”
“J around?” Skye asked.
“J ... J ....” the woman said thoughtfully, tapping her chin.
Skye rolled her eyes, dropping the isolinear chip she had picked up before walking towards the back of the store, passing straight through a now irate hologram. “J, calling in a favour!” Skye called out as she pushed open the door leading into the back.
“Employees only!” The hologram cried out. “No customers.”
“Don’t make me reprogram you,” Skye warned her. “Because I will.”
“It’s alright Edna. Off you go. My dear Skye, reconsider my offer?” J asked as he appeared behind Skye.
“Nope, but I need some supplies,” Skye told him. “Since you owe me...”
“More than what you already have in your pocket?” J asked, leaning against the doorframe, arms across his chest, eyebrows raised. “What you up to?”
In reply, Skye handed him her shopping list. He scanned it, eyebrow raised, “not your usual.”
“Branching out. I’m on a deadline here. And none of the cheap crap you sell in the shop either. I want good stuff, from out back.”
While H'rall was waiting on the Tellarite repairs Korel ventured into the shops smelling gagh and other delicacies when he spied the very lady who had sold him the clipper class cruiser.
They're was no coincidence if she was here. No doubt to him she had sent them on a dead mans quest to get the ship and then she would come along and try to steal it back.
Quickly turning he ran back the way he came to rally the troops to return to the shuttle, repaired or not. Korel also looked for Skye as well.
The Tellarite automat had amazingly upgraded the Klingon shuttle for a minimal fee, as there was a special going on apparently. H'rall had his charms apparently as he was no stranger in this realm. Korel was new to scavengry but being Klingon fit the role like a bearded man on a motor cycle in the 20th century.
An upgraded grappler and thruster system and a used but working repulser/tractor device was enabled but would require using shield energy. Fortunately the Klingon central design required for a strong hull which compensated. Time did not avail for a weapons upgrade which Korel wanted but they had to go
"H'rall we have to leave now. Try to call Skye." Korel yelled as he boarded the shuttle.
Hissing H'rall ran out in the direction of her scent.
Stepping back out into the alley with far more crammed into her pack than when she first entered the store, Skye let out a startled yelp as H’Rall almost ran straight into her. Which was a close approximation of the sound her companion made when he found a knife at his throat. After a split second for recognition to kick in, Skye flashed him an apologetic smile as she sheathed the knife and gave him as much space as the narrow alley allowed.
“You should be more careful,” she warned. “It hasn’t been an hour, I’m not done...”
" Korel says Go....we go. They're here. Meet us at the shuttle when you're done. I will stall as long as I can." H'rall worded.
A hundred or so questions came to mind as Skye glanced around them. They seemed completely alone but that could change easily. “Okay, let’s go. “
Dashing through alley H'rall lifted up Skye and plowed through two Nausicans who seemed to be with the woman. A few meters out Korel joined them.
" The shuttles on idle let's get out of here." Korel yelled.
When all three were aboard H'rall took off and flew over the bazaar. Targeting the recognized aggressors ship, Korel nodded and the shuttle open fired.
"Good shot H'rall. That'll slow them down. Skye? Are you hurt?"
he added.
Emptying her pockets and lifting her new acquisitions out of the backpack, Skye nodded, “all good. I got most of what I need. I just need to make an upgrade or two to this little beauty..
“This, H’rall is a baby repair drone. We are going to use it to deactivate the mine so we don’t blow up your new ship. It doesn’t look like much - yet - but it will.”
