Ariana looked at Cameron, she could see and feel the anger bottled up inside him both towards his brother Collin and toward those who'd killed his family. "Imzadi...don't bottle it, talk to me. Tell me what's going through your head."

"Right now shame, anger, and fear. Shame that I did not handle the situation with collin any better then I did. Anger toward the cowards who would attack my family especially the way they did, and fear because honestly I don't know if I can protect you should those same people find us." Said Cameron absently

"Cameron..." Ariana gently placed her hands on his. "You're talking to your future wife, I'm not afraid of what's going on! I want to help. You explained about your family to me and I accepted that, whatever you are the heir to you're a descent man and I love you." She squeezed his hands. "We all have a dark side, even me and nothing is going to scare me away."

"I guess I know what I want to do I am just not sure it is the right thing anymore. A year ago hell 6 months ago before I met you hearing news like that would have seen me heading home and taking my anger out directly on the people who did this by way of phaser fire. Now though I have a family of my own to worry about I am just not sure the best way to deal with this." rambled Cameron as his mind went a million different directions and a dozen different ideas went through his head.

"Cameron, stop!" Ariana offered an understanding smile. "Take a moment to process this and make a logical decision. Have you stopped to think that whoever has done this might want to draw you out? Depending on how long they took to plan, they might already have people near. If you leave the station alone then what's to stop them coming here after us? I would give my life to protect our daughter and you."

"If they wanted to draw me out then they have done a great job of it cause I am more then ready to face whoever did this. If they can scare uncle James and aunt Stacie that bad then well the situation is most likely much worse then they let on. The logical part of my mind says to stay here and protect my family above all else. My heart and my early training though says that I should get revenge on those that hurt my family. It is just confusing given the situation right now. If I leave and something happens to you or stacie or both of you it would break me but at the same time if I do nothing to avenge my family what does that make me in the eyes of my extended family?" asked cameron as he slumped in his chair exhausted.

"You don't even know whose done this." Ariana looked at her fiancé concernedly. "If you want to go I won't stop you but I will be worrying about you the whole time you're away. I will make one stipulation though...*

"Oh and what would that be." he knew exactly what she would ask for but he wanted to hear her ask

" You marry me so I can go with you as your wife and member of your family." She looked him in the eyes letting him know she was serious.

"Love that was always going to be in the cards weather this situation happened or not." Said Cameron lightly. "Look I will talk a couple things over with james and stacie and I will see what if anything is wrong with my brother first. If they have more information then maybe I can get a better picture. I have a feeling I know what happened and who did it but I can not wrap my mind around what would have to be a polar shift in his personality to do so." He added.

Ariana nodded. "Alright, the decision is yours. I will abide by whatever decision you make."

"Thank you love. Now though I think I really should head into the shop and see about making some money. Oh and what do you know about the Wallace class of starship." Said Cameron lightly as he got ready to head out for the day.

"Absolutely nothing" Ariana was feeling a little confused about just how fast Cameron had brushed off her wedding idea. Tgey'd only just got engaged but somehow she knew he was going to be the man she'd spend her life with. "Why do you ask?"

"Cause I am considering getting rid of the dakota she is to big for even two people to handle with ease and she is getting old I mean the space frame must be over 100 by now I was looking through some public files and I came across the wallace class it looked just about right for a family of say 8 or 9 people and is new enough that she would not require round the clock maintance. And I thought it might be a nice early wedding present to the love of my life." Said Cameron softly.

Ariana offered a smile. "It's up to you, if she's a better ship then go with it. As for an early wedding present, I have a feeling that's some way off yet so maybe just say it's an investment." She didn't want to sound like she was pushing him into something he didn't want yet, especially after the loss of his parents. "Let's talk about it later, you have enough to think about.

"Yah your right" Said Cameron calmly ~I will still have to get her something after all she is the best thing to happen to me in a long time.~ thought cameron as he headed for the door.

“Cameron...wait!” She followed him to the door. “I’m sorry! If you want to get the ship then get it, the fact that it fits a large family sounds good to me.” She kissed him on the cheek. “The wedding can wait until you’re ready, I’ll be here no matter how long it takes.”

"Thanks love I will see what happens but nothing is going to happen right away there is to much I need to process and sort out. After all if I let my feelings and emotions win all the time I would never make it out of our bedroom." Said Cameron with a chuckle as he gave her a kiss and a light pat on the rear.

“Says he who wants us to have a ship load of children!!” Ariana grinned. “Not that I’m not willing!”
