Mission: Episode 101 - Peace During War
Location: Admiral T'Lar's office
Timeline: MD03 0835 hrs

With Admiral Bremer off station Olivia made her way to Admiral T'Lar's office, having left the twins at the station nursery she had the free time she needed to report in. Arriving at T'Lar's office she pressed the door chime and waited for an answer.

"Enter." She stopped what she was doing and watched the door.

Walking into the office, Olivia smiled as she walked up to Deela's desk and handed over the PADD containing her transfer orders. "Lieutenant Olivia O'Riley, Counsellor's Aide and Marine Medic reporting for duty Admiral."

Lieutenant, have a seat." Deela smiled, "Welcome to Starbase 400." She took the PADD and looked at it. "So, you transferred from Heyerdahl Station. Was transferring here at your request or orders from Starfleet?"

"Orders I'm afraid, Heyerdahl is being decommissioned. My husband and I have gotten used to station life, especially as we recently had twins so we requested another station assignment."

Deela had been so busy with everything going on, she wasn't aware of the on-goings of other stations, "Ah, twins. There is someone else here on the station with twins, Captain Harrison. They keep her quite busy. So busy, that she decided to lighten her duties for a while." She smiled, "So, you are married. Is he also on SB400?"

Olivia nodded. "Yes he is, TJ is the new Assistant Chief Operations Officer. The girls are both ten months old and TJ is my rock!" She smiled warmly. "We've both recently had a...very difficult time."

Deela frowned slightly, "Oh, so sorry to hear that." She leaned back in her chair, "Is there anything I can do to help?

"It's just going to take some time." Olivia offered a brief smile. "I won't bore you with the long winded version, but we were aboard the USS Tyr when she was drawn into a mirror universe. We all ended up at a Cardassian mining facility as slaves, our ships nurse was raped." She shook her head. "Luckily for me I was taken in by the mirror duplicate of my husband. It's not all as simple as it sounds we all had one hell of a difficult time! Tim and I had only just had the twins but they assured us we'd only be away a few days, we were away months in the end." She sighed. "We're both making up for lost time with the twins now."

"Well, I am truly sorry that happened to you." Deela smiled," But like I say, new place, new beginnings."

“My thoughts exactly Admiral” Olivia smiled warmly. “My duties are set between the Fleet and Marine sides, I’ve been assigned as Marine Medic as well as Counsellor’s Aide so I’ll have to divide my time where and when necessary.”

"That is fine. You do as you see fit." She looked at her and smiled, "So, is there anything else you would like to discuss?"

"I don't think so at the moment Admiral, I just wanted to make my arrival official and check-in with you." Olivia smiled warmly.

Deela spoke with excitement, "Okay then. You are officially a member of the Starbase 400 family. Welcome aboard.”

“Thank you Admiral, it’s a pleasure to be here.” With a grin, Olivia turned to leave the office. It was time to start getting used to being part of the Starbase crew.
