Mission: Episode 100 - A Hatred of Atonement

Still feeling shaky Splendora managed to gingerly avoid some fallen equipment on the observation deck. She found Dakor quickly. He was kind of hard to miss standing at six foot nine with intense blue eyes. He had his hair down to cover what she knew were Romulan shaped ears. He’d lied about those. With the Romulan physiology mirroring the Vulcans so closely on the Klingon home world he was considered half Klingon half Vulcan.

“To what do I owe the pleasure?”

Dakor turned. He took in her eyes again. “Those are creepy.”

She laughed. “I like them. Stop stalling I feel like I’ve swallowed a Torian eel whole.”

Dakor sighed. “I have come with respect to the blood oath we swore.”

She knew that would come and haunt her. “Alright. Why don’t you start at the beginning?”

Dakor smiled, “In the beginning there was chaos…”

Splendora snorted. “Not that far.” Leave it to Dakor to joke at a time like this.

“My uncle was taken by the House of Keldar. I need to find him and bring Keldar and his house to justice.”

“Well that sounds fun. Which uncle? Dahar Master or drunk?”

“They are both drunk but Perath.”

She sighed, “Ah the Dahar Master. An oath is an oath. I need a day to get ready and … there are certain things you should know about what happened to me. Come with me we’ll get some blood wine for you, tea for me and I will fill you in.”

“I never say no to blood wine.”

Splendora snorted, “In your case with your family history that’s not a good thing. Lucky for you I’m a trained counselor so I can help with that too.”

The two headed towards Splendora’s quarters. Dakor realized just how fragile she was when he had to help support her as she walked. Perhaps this was a mistake but he needed help. Someone he could trust.

It would be a long night of talking and catching up for both.
