ON:

Sarah was in the command chair, working the grave yard shift. She turned when They received an incoming call from the base to have the Captain contact them immediately. She hated waking him but it couldn’t be helped. Sarah presses the comm and waited for Zeke to answer.

Zeke looked over to Anna, his eyes were half awake. He slowly crawled out of his bed, and grabbed his robe. He slowly made his way to the door, and it opened. The outside light luminescent the door way, and apart of his quarters. "What is it Commander?" He asked. Curious, why she was showing up in the middle of the night?

“You have a call from four hundred,” Sarah relief quietly. “I apologize but they insist it is urgent and they will only speak with you.”

"Any idea who its from." Zeke asked, as he pinned himself against the door frame to hold himself up. He was still half asleep, and wanted to go back to bed, as soon as possible.

“They said have you contact command at the base,” Sarah replied. “It wasn’t a command officer, one of their yeoman.”

"Seriously." Zeke said, a little annoyed a yeoman was calling him in the middle of the night. What was going on he wondered. He was a little concerned why the middle of the night call.

“I was wondering why they didn’t just call and have me patch the call through,” Sarah said with a sigh. “Maybe they didn’t want to get woke up.”

"I'll call them back, standby for orders. I'll call on the bridge." Zeke said, as he forced himself off the wall. He was about to walk over to his desk, in his quarters.

“Yes Sir,” Sarah nodded and headed out the door. She wondered what the hell was going on.

“Zeke?” Anna said, coming over to him. “What’s going on?” They hadn’t woke her up, she had instinctively reached for Zeke and he was gone.

Zeke reached around, a little blinded by the corridor light. When they closed the room door, it was dark. After a few seconds his eyes adjusted. He reached over and gave her a hug. "Some Admiral's Yeoman decided to call in the middle of the night, telling me to call them back." He said annoyed at the situation. He held her close, trying not to fall asleep on her.

“Let’s get you into a chair and call them,” Anna smiled. “Unless it’s life or death you can get back to sleep faster.”

"Rather snuggle with you in bed." He suggested. Picking her up gentle as he started to walk towards the bed.

Anna wrapped her arms around him. “I like that idea.” She murmured. Anna snuggled into him as he laid her down and climbed in beside her. “What could be so urgent, Zeke?”

"No idea." He said, as he looked into her eyes. She was so beautiful. "I should probably call them back." He said, finding it hard to leave the bed.

“”I’ll be here waiting,” She said with a smile. “You don’t want them calling again.”

Zeke slowly got out of bed, he would have preferred to stay in bed. He walked over to the terminal, and opened a line with Admiral K'Temok's Yeoman. Zeke was not given a reason, he was just ordered to return back to Starbase 400. He knew Anna could hear the conversation. She was just hiding behind the monitor.

After the call ended he looked to her. "They couldn't have told that to the bridge. That was pointless." Zeke said, a little annoyed. As he walked over to the bed, and grabbed his communicator from the night stand. First he looked to Anna, to see what she thought.

“I agree,” Anna smiled. “But command officers can be picky or the yeoman could have interpreted his orders wrong.”

Zeke tapped on the combadge. "Bagwell to the bridge." Zeke called out, as he started to walked over to the bed. He sat on the bed next to Anna.

“Commander Rodgers,” Sarah answered. She waited to hear what was going on. It couldn’t be that bad Or he would be on the bridge.

"Number One set a course back to Starbase 400 maximum warp." Zeke ordered over the communications channel. He looked to Anna, a little annoyed about the recall order. But they were given orders to head back.

“Yes Captain,” Sarah wanted to ask him why but she knew he would tell her when he was ready, if he even knew. She glanced over at Sam who nodded. “Heading to four hundred maximum speed.” She repeated his order for verification.

"Thank you Number one, I am heading to bed, again. See you in the morning." Zeke said, as the scene fades.
