Mission: Episode 98 - A Raid on Peace
Location: Splendora Sage's quarters
Timeline: MD 04 2345 hours

ON:

Splendora and Michael entered her quarters. He dropped her jacket on the chair. "Are you alright?"

She sighed, "How can I be. Kalani was...is a wonderful person. She doesn't deserve this."

"She will be alright. Hades will not give up on her," Michael said.

Splendora sighed. She bid Michael good night and when he left she sat at her desk to check the day's messages both personal and work.

A flashing message from Tom drew her attention. She opened it and read:

‘Splendora, my dear. I am sorry. Not only for getting thrown into the brig but also for not seeing you after getting out and before leaving. I’ve asked Vito to keep an eye on you while I’m away...I’m not sure how long I’ll be gone either, but please understand this is something I have to do. I love you, Tom.’

Splendora stared at the screen. She didn't know whether to cry that he was leaving or swoon at the fact that he'd written the three words that he'd withheld until now. 'I love you, Tom.

Feeling drained and tired she did both. She cried because she hadn't seen him in over a week and now he was gone with an unknown return date and out of joy for the words he'd written.

She responded to him with the same words, "I love you. Come back soon. I'll wait for you. Splendora."

She hoped he got it before his ship left the system. She wondered would she be here when he was back...would she make it through the transition?

Feeling tired beyond all she crawled into the shower and then into bed falling into a dead sleep.
