The ceremony for the late Commodore Pike was nice. Alex was happy to see that Lee and the others made it back safely.

She watched Lee as he spoke about Commodore Pike. Saw saw this man actually shed a tear. Not many men were willing to show such emotion. But for some, they weren't embarrassed. This was one of the things that drew her to her late husband. After they were married, that person she fell in love with, slowly changed. She got lost in her memories.

The silence in the room brought her back to the present. Once it was all over, she just couldn't wait to get back to the ship and take off the uncomfortable white uniform off. She was going to say something to Lee but he was surrounded by family and she didn't want to interfere with the family reunion. Alex snuck out and beamed back to the ship.

Alex started to think about her son and was feeling anxious to get home so she could spend time with him before they have to go on another mission. She decided to to ahead and send a message to T'Lar and let her know the Pegasus ETA. After that, she opened up a bottle of wine that she got on Earth and relaxed with it.
