Mission: Mission 76 - Home comings
Location: Earth
Timeline: Current

ON:

The end of an era, burial of a legend, all these thoughts going through his head as he sat there watching the service.

It's not the same though for Smith, no.... If something were to go wrong on a special forces mission and he were to be killed in action. No funeral, no mention of your past acknowledgements, just a private ceremony with your realitives and that's it. Wiped completely from Starfleet records.

But while thinking about the negatives about his past and soon to be current job, he looked at the positives. He heard many tales with fellow crew members about the exploits of Pike, tales often shared around glasses of synthehol in Ten Forward while serving on the Enterprise.

Robert thoughts began to wonder elsewhere. He was egar to step back onto Starbase 400, get to know his new assistant chief engineer. He managed to get a name and a service record of his new 2IC, there is something he will need to discuss with her, related to her fear of away missions or the incident related to a crooked admiral. He hopes to talk to her at first chance.
