It had been five days since Vox and his colleagues had returned from their expedition. Vox was now the custodian of the treasure as Tamarn left without any interest in it. To him, it wasn't the treasure he wanted. Vox had already sent a message through to Admiral K'Temoc for advice. He hoped he would be able help.

Once he was able to get out of the twenty-third century uniform and back into his own, and with the Enterprise safely returned to her time, K'Temoc replied to Vox's message and asked to meet him at his shop.

It took a few minutes to minutes to get down to the Promenade, then make his way to Vox's shop. He walked in and looked around for a moment.

Vox spotted the Vice Admiral in the gallery and approached him.

"Vice Admiral, thank you for coming in response to my message."

"You're welcome. How can I help you?" K'Temoc asked.


"If you would join me in the back of the Gallery I will show you. " Vox replied. He led the Vice Admiral into the back of the Gallery.

He then explained about the recent excursion he and others had just returned from. He then opened the large wooden chest that they had brought back with them.

There in front of the Vice Admiral was the collection of extremely old books and manuscripts. Vox put on a pair of white soft gloves that he normally used for handling delicate objects. He then picked up the old manuscript that was tied with string.

"This appears to be an original set of poems by Adnar Tamen who, if I am not mistaken was a very famous writer from Betazed. He died some 300 years ago. It was rumoured there was a missing manuscript of his work. Is this it? "

Vox asked. " There are books in here that are older than that. I am not sure what is best to do with them, to be honest."

K'Temoc kept his hands back as he looked. "I'm no expert, but, I think I know where one will be. The upcoming Alliance Conference on Cardassia. There will be vendors and dealers from all Alliances members, as well as Federation members...I'm sure Betazed will have people attending. Why don't you bring them, and anything you might want to sell, set up a booth in the vendors' area. I can assign security too if you'd like."

Vox pondered the idea of going to the Alliance Conference and on Cardassia as well. "That does sound like a good idea. I don't really want to sell them as some of these could be seen as national treasures so it might be wrong to profit from this find. How would I get to the conference? "

"I'll add you to the list of civilians going. When it's time to depart you'll be contacted and will be assigned quarters on one of the ships." K'Temoc replied. "Thank you."

"Thank you Vice Admiral. " Vox replied. The two then went their separate ways.
