Returning home

Mission: Episode 94 - Return to Rashanar
Location: Main Engineering, Chief Engineers Office
Timeline: MD4 1300

With the final crew members having disembarked from the Ark Royal, Jack finished up his tour of the Ambassador Class vessel to confirm that the ship was clear.

With his tour complete, he stopped by his temporary quarters on board and grabbed his kit bag before heading to the airlock. Once there, Jack signed over the ship to the Dock Master before heading for the main complex.

He stopped for a moment as he entered the Promenade and took in the view of home... A thought he was finally used to. Jack had a thought.

"Computer, Station time?" He asked.

"Station time is 1300 hours," the computer reported back.

He smiled as he secured his grip on his kit bag and took a turbolift down to Main Engineering. During the short cab ride he decided to see if Deela was free tonight and to offer her dinner.

He'd missee her during the recent excursion to the Boneyard andwas looking forward to seeing and the children. He arrived in Main Engineering and nodded to a few junior officers as they noted his arrival.

Once inside his office Jack chucked his bag to one side on the small sofa and then sat back in his chair behind the desk. Taking a look at the amount of PADD's there, he knew he had a few reports to read through after filing his own report from the mission.

Before he started his mission report, he sent a quick message to Deela.

"I'm sorry I've been away longer than I thought this would take... I've missed you...a lot. Dinner tonight?"

He typed before hitting send. Once the message was on its way, he walked over to the replicator, ordered a double sweet large mug of Lemon Tea and went back to sit down at his desk. With his feet up, Jack took a sip of his tea and began reading his first report.

"Home sweet home," he nurmured as he carried on reading.
