Mission: Episode 94 - Return to Rashanar
Location: SB400
Timeline: MD1, 1325hrs

Thomas was quiet during his whole trip back from Alpha Centauri. Funerals are already a tedious affair, especially if you have to do most of the planning. It did not take long for Jackson to learn this. He missed his father dearly, but he had to handle family business, while his brother Lewis assumed his father's Senate seat.

When his runabout finally landed on SB400, the flightcrew had to remind him that they arrived. His thoughts were scrambled. But he had to get back into the swing of things. He had his luggage delivered to his quarters while he went straight to his office.

Carlton Gibbs was doing his around in Marine Country, being the bottom half of his shift. He liked B Watch much better than the night shift. There were less problem people to deal with. Most of them were in the Fleet part of the base. As he turned into another corridor, he saw the General. "Good afternoon Sir". Jackson answered back. "Hello Master Sergeant. All quiet?"

"Nothing out of norm Sir. I am sorry for your loss." Thomas nodded, "Thank you." The pair walked together to Jackson's office. "So where is everyone?" Gibbs answered, "Colonel Hurd, Major McMichaels, Captain Casion,and a detail from the 22nd are clearing the old Rashinar Battle Field. Chief Aquila is still in Physical Rehab, and doing well from what I hear. " Rashinar, now that is a job Jackson was happy to miss out on. The carnage of that Dominion War battle was similar to AR558. They finally arrived to the Commander's Office. "Well Sir, I will let you go on to do general stuff. " "Thank you Gibbs."

Jackson sat down, and looked at his view screen, filled with many status changes. "Corporal, advise Admiral Bremer that I have returned."

Intensive Care Unit

Giaus Aquila still had to get used to his improved breathing, and super efficient artificial heart. But most of the time, he lied in bed, in a semi-comatosed state. The scaring on his chest was almost gone, thanks to dermal regenerators. His boys visit him every day, when they are not in school. However, Giaus still does not feel complete without Holly, who has been off base since the battle that cost him his heart. He hoped that she was safe,and he prayed to his gods daily that she would return home. It was going to be a long road to recovery.
