Lieutenant Chloe Young the new Assistant Chief flight Control Officer arrived on Starbase 400 after transferring from the U.S.S. Exeter. Her former Commanding Officer Captain Stuart had approved her transfer to Starbase 400. She went to Ops to report into Fleet Admiral Mike K'Wor Bremer. She saw Fleet Admiral Bremer in Ops and stood at attention "Admiral Bremer I'm Lieutenant Chloe Young, your new Assistant Chief Flight Control Officer." She gave Fleet Admiral Bremer the PADD regarding her transfer orders.
Mike had been looking over a report when the new Lieutenant came in. Mike took the PADD and looked it over. "Welcome aboard Starbase 400 Lieutenant Young. I'm afraid you're a little late for our assigned mission to Rashanar, but I'm sure we can find something for you to do after you get settled in and learn your away around the Station."
Chloe told Fleet Admiral Bremer "I've never been on a Starbase this big before Sir " She asked Fleet Admiral Bremer "How many crew members are there on Starbase 400?" She wondered how many crewmembers there were on a starbase since she was on the U.S.S. Exeter she knew how many crew members there were on a starship but not on a starbase the starship's crew complement was different then a starbase crew complement.
Mike thought that was an odd first question by a new crewmembers. "Well, current we have about eight thousand, two hundred officers, nearly seventy five thousand enlisted crew, eighteen hundred marines, and about twenty four thousand civilians."
Chloe Explained " Sorry, the reason I asked that Odd Question First is because this is my first Assignment on a Starbase, my last Assignment was on a Starship and the crew complement was different then on a Starbase"She said to Fleet Admiral Bremer.
Mike nodded. "Understood. Go ahead and get settled in your quarters, take today to do any needed house cleaning and organizing and tomorrow we'll find you something to do." Mike flashed a smile, "And Lieutenant, welcome aboard."
