Mission: Episode 92 - More Questions than Answers
Location: Hurd Quarters
Timeline: MD4 - 2000h

Jewel was cuddling up next to David watching a movie, she had her legs stretched out and her head on Davids shoulder. She felt more relaxed and almost feel asleep laying on his shoulder but just continued to watch the movie. She whispered in his ear, 'I love you' then went back to watching the movie.

Tom actually got off duty on time, and decided to check on Jewel before he went to dinner. Once he arrived to the Hurd residence, he hit the door chime.

She looked up, "wonder who that is." Jewel said as she raised an eyebrow. "Come," she said as she laid her head back down on David's shoulder.

Jackson came in, and stopped in his tracks.

"Hey Tom," She said as she looked at him and seen the look on his face she tried to hid the smile. "Yes we made up," She said looking at him then back at David.

Jackson's hand went instinctively to his phaser, for all the irritation that has occurred between these two in the past 48 hours, but he took a deep breath, and moved his hand off the weapon. He managed to give a faint smile, "Well, I am glad."

She raised an eyebrow "Were working on things," She said as she looked at him. "Care for something to drink?" She asked looking at him as she paused the movie they were watching and turn the lights to standard.

"No thank you. I need to keep a clear head for now." Jackson said.

She raised an eyebrow again, "What do you mean a clear head?" She asked as she looked at him a bit confused by that statement.

"Personal matter Jewel. Plus if I drink, I tend to be brutally honest." Jackson responded.

"Um ok," she said as she just sat back down. "I didn't mean that kind of drink." She said as she just sat their.

"Well in that case, I'll have some mango bubble tea," Jackson said.

"Are you sure your alright?" She said now beginning to worry about Tom. She got up and walked over to the replicator and ordered his drink as well as herself a green tea. "David you want anything?" She asked.

''Yeah, grab me a coke if you would''.

She walked back over and handed out the drinks to Tom and David before sitting down again. "Have a seat stay awhile, we promise not to bit." She said with a smile.

Jackson sat down, and started to sip on his tea.

She then noticed something different about his rank which made her raise her eyebrow. "Well I guess congratulations are in order?" She asked as she looked at Tom.

"Thanks Jewel. Happened last evening," Tom said.

She nodded then looked at David, "Say something don't let me do all the talking." She said with a smile.

"What's there to say? I haven't had much sleep lately because of some off duty theatrics. Not going to mention any names at this time. I just came in to see if you are okay. Evidently, you are, and so is my XO. What else should I say?" Jackson retorted.

She didn't say much at that statement, "Well if you will excuse me." She said as she got up and walked in the other room. She sat on the bed for a moment, her back started hurting then she got back up and walked in the bathroom and started her nightly routine of getting ready for bed.

''So General Jackson, whats going on?''

"At the moment, nothing. Overall, piecing together two rapid response brigades for the division, something I should be coordinating with my XO with. Instead of focusing on this, I have good Romulans, bad Romulans, and drama to deal with. Don't get me wrong, I am happy as holy hell that you two are working things out. I am also glad I checked up on you two. But I would lie if your drama did not piss me the hell off. And for what?" Jackson said.

Jewel heard everything while in the other room when she finished she walked back out and looked at him. "General I think it's actually time for you to be leaving, you seen I was alright so it's now goodnight. I am tired and I want to go to bed." She said then looking at David.

Jackson smiled, nodded to them both, "General, Colonel", and walked out. He his say, even though he did not plan on saying it yet, but it had to be said.
