Waiting For Everyone to Arrive

Mission: Mission 76 - Home comings
Location: Lake Murray, Bremer's place
Timeline: 1912 hours

Alex waited to be invited in. Mike opened the door and invited her in. "I hope that I'm not too early."

Mike smiled, "No. You're right on time."

She smiled, "Good." She was lead to one of the patios. She saw that she wasn't the first one to arrive. There was Lt. Colonel Highsmith who seemed to have just arrived himself. She nodded to him with a smile, "Hi." She looked at Mike, "Nice place" but he was already walking away.

A few more arrived. There was Captain Greenwood then a few minutes later, Lt. Gillo and CPO O'Reily. They were still waiting for Chief Branson, Dr. t`khellian, Captain K`Temoc, Lieutenant Commander Wright, Captain Andrews and Captain Mark.

While Alex waited for everyone else to arrive, she stood and looked out at the view. It was so calming and serene. The sky was sightly marbled with clouds that looked like white tire tracks upon blue sky. They still had a good hour or so before the sun started to go down. She had always enjoyed a beautiful sunset but didn't get to see one too often.
