Sitting back after he had filed his personal log, David sighed. He was somewhat apprehensive as to what Jewell would would, so much so he was sweating. Wiping his forehead, David stood and started to go get his uniform when he heard a noise behind him. Stiffing up, he turned, and saw that Jewell had not only got up, but was staring him straight in the eyes.

She looked at him, "what are you doing David?" She asked as she was already in her uniform she had some work to do for a few hours. She adjusted her uniform and her Major General rank pips. "Is there something you need to tell me?" She asked.

Looking at here, he said, ''Hun, i am going back, i can not sit around while good men and women fight and die, it eats me alive''.

She got upset and glared at him, "No your not David, your not physically able yet, your lucky to even be alive after that accident on our honeymoon. I about lost you once I not going to do it again." She barked clearly upset and mad that he would even consider it. "Jr doesn't need to loose his father, and I don't deserve loosing you either." She added.

His face going red, David said, ''Neither of you are going to loose me, Ever''. ''I am a warrior and i will NOT stay out of the fight, not while people die'', he said as he reached for his Gun belt'.

She looked at him "that will be your biggest mistake grabbing for that David." She said looking at him then walked back in the room shutting the door taking a deep breath and picked up there crying son to sooth him. She needed to calm down and think about this and the other thing she would eventually have to tell him.

''Oh for the love of God hun, its part of uniform.'' Shaking his head he walked up to the closed door and put his hand on it, lowing his head.

Tears ran down her face she had a lot on her mind and she was getting mad over little things. She sighed then looked towards the door, "David come in." She said in a softer voice.

Opening the Door and walking in, he looked at her and said, ''Whats wrong?''

"I shouldn't have snapped at you, if you want to go back then I'll support you." Jewel said in a soft voice.

''There is somthing else on your mind, i can tell''

She looked at him placing Jr who had fallen back asleep in his bed and then got up walking over to David. Putting her arms around him and placing a gentle kiss on his forehead, "No there's not just got a lot of work that needs to get done." She said looking at him.

''Hun, i know there is, but i will let the subject rest''. David said going to grab his uniform.

"Well I got some work that needs to be done," She said looking at him "the nanny should be here soon to watch Jr." She added giving him a kiss.

''Ok hun'', Hurd said as she left. Smiling, he had just finished putting his boots on when the nanny walked in. Nodding at her, he made his way out, looking for General Jackson.
