Mission: Episode 90 - The Great Relink
Location: Lwazanda Ral's Apartment
Timeline: MD2-0900 Hours

Lwazanda woke quietly and wrapped herself in a dressing gown. Being very careful not to wake Kon.She made her way stealthily down the staircase, and was greeted by Mirenna.

"How was last night?" Mirenna asked with a smile on her face."No wait, I don't want to know. I mean I love both of you, but there are just some images I don't need."

Lwazanda shook her head, "We didn't do anything. We just laid there, in silence, until we both fell asleep."

The older of the pair swept towards the kitchen. Mirenna followed close behind her.

"What happened?" Mirenna asked, innocently.

Lwazanda turned sharply, and dropped her voice to a whisper. "Stannis kissed me last night, and Kon walked in as it was happening."

Mirenna's eyes went wide. "So what are you going to do?"

Lwazanda threw her arms up with frustration. "What can I do? It isn't as though I can change what happened," her voice dropped again, "Not that I would."

Mirenna smiled. "You like Stannis?" She said playfully, "I always thought you did. All those late nights, and dinners, and the lunches. Not to mention the gifts he gave you for every possible occasion. How could you not fall for him?" Mirenna had the gazed look of a teenager.

"Keep your voice down, I'm hoping I'll get enough time to figure out what to say before Kon wakes up." Lwazanda looked so nervous.

Mirenna continued her smile, " You are a Daughter of the Fifth House of Betazed. Just tell them both that you shouldn't have to choose."

After considering it for a moment, Lwazanda shook her head. "I can't do that to either of them.

Mirenna saw Kon appear at the Kitchen door. Her eyes widened. "Well you better decide soon."

Kon Ral cleared his throat. Lwazanda turned, and her heart sank.

"I'll go get your outfit ready." Mirenna said as she scurried off.

Kon stopped her in the doorway, "Good to see you Mirenna."

"And you sir." she responded, glancing back at Lwazanda before leaving the couple to talk.

"You have been busy." The Betazoid man said, looking around the room, before allowing his eyes to fall on Lwazanda.

She immediately understood his double meaning, and scowled at him. "Come now Lwazanda, you'll get frown lines."

His small talk left her felling ill at ease. "Why are you here?" She demanded.

He stepped past her and further into the kitchen. "I fancied a visit with my wife." he spoke with false sincerity, "That and I've heard that your eyes have been wandering."

He snapped around and placed a hand on her shoulder, turning her to face him. "I had associates telling me of your innocent dalliances from all corners of the Quadrant." He closed his eyes, and raised his voice, "Do you have any idea how much of an idiot that makes me out to be?"

When Lwazanda didn't answer, he opened his eyes. "Answer me, you Housebred Harlot."

Lwazanda was taken aback by this insult. She immediately pulled back her hand and made slapped him across the face. Kon caught her wrist.

"For as long as you are still my wife you will be loyal." He said, clutching her wrist. "If I catch you with another man again, You, and everyone else, will never see him again." His voice was trembling.

A single tear fell from Lwazanda's eye. She opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out.

Kon turned on his heel, and left the room, just as Mirenna was re-entering.

The young Betazoid caught sight of her distraught Mistress, and immediately pulled her into a hug.
