Mission:
Episode 89 - Futility's Return
Location: Starbase 400/USS Pegasus
Timeline: MD 2, 0050 hrs
On:
Commander Coleman had just gotten out of the senior staff meeting about the return of a small group of Borg that had broken off from the collective years ago, before the Caelier had come to transform the collective and everyone within it.
Coleman ran to his quarters on the starbase to get ready and gather some clothing for the mission onboard the Pegasus. While he was getting ready, it gave him time to think about the past century or two. Being an El-Aurian, his homeworld was destroyed approximately a century or two prior to the collective being dismantled, or supposedly being dismantled, for good. The El-Aurian were able to relocate their homeworld and their people across the galaxy, but it had been tough. He was almost joyful to see such an aggresive race being dismantled, but he also remembered their own torture.
Coleman then pulled himself out of his daydream state and pulled the last few bits of clothing into his duffle bag and headed out of his quarters to the docking port where the Pegasus was currently being stationed. He put in his authorization code and it allowed him access to the massive starship. He immediately went to Engineering and started working on several minor projects before heading up to the bridge to begin the mission that would again put him face to face with the people that destroyed his homeworld.
