Timeline: MD1 1900 hrs, Following 'Can't Say Much'

After her meeting with the new 1st Marine Division XO she decided she would go and see Mike. It was about time to request Maternity leave as she could feel she would have her soon anytime now, it would be a matter of how soon. She arrived at Ops and nodded to the officers there, she headed straight for the Officer's Lounge and waited for the Admiral to exit.

A few moments later, Bremer, T'Lar, and K'Temoc exited the Lounge. Mike saw Jewel standing to the side and seemed to have something on her mind.

"Is everything okay?" Mike asked Jewel.

"Yes," she said as she walked in. "But, I do want to request maternity leave as I have a feeling this little one is going to be making an entrance soon." She said as she looked at him as she was having mind contractions but nothing to much at the moment.

“All right, take the time you need. Advise your Diplomatic Staff.” Mike could tell Jewel was in some discomfort, “And go see Doctor Brislan.”

She smile at Mike, "Can you let Janice know." She stated looking at Mike, "and I will Mike." She stated as she looked at him as she felt the baby kick.

"Sure, I'll let her know right now. Do you want her to meet you in Sick Bay?" Mike asked.

"Yes," Jewel stated with a smile.

Mike returned the smile as he waited for Jewel to leave first.

"Well, I am sure Janice will let you know when your nephew has made his entrance." she smiled then looked at the time. "Well, I am going to go talk to my staff and place Billy in charge until I return from leave." She stated then walked out of the office.
