Location: Bremer's Quarters, Starbase 400

ON:

The Essex had returned to Starbase 400 earlier in the morning and even though Mike had a lot of 'paperwork' to finish, the only thing he wanted to do was have a nice family breakfast with his family.

Everyone was there, his wife Janice, children K'Wor, Becca, and Christopher, and mother in law Emmaline. It was a nice, traditional breakfast from the Southern part of the North America on Earth. Bacon, eggs, grits, steak, biscuits, orange juice, coffee...the works.

K'Wor and Becca asked Mike several questions about Essex's mission, then Janice asked more about the planet's native population, their world war, and military capabilities.

Mike's mother in law remained quite for most of the meal, talking mostly to little Christopher.

After the meal, Mike and K'Wor headed for Ops while Becca headed for Sick Bay for more medical training and studying. Janice, Emmaline, and Christopher stayed at home and started their day off like normal...cartoons, gossip, and laughs.
