A little discussion

Maal had just spoken with his father on a coded transmission and wasn't in a good mood about it. He had heard about the incident with Lee and Alex on Risa. He stepped into the quarters and looked around for Saith.

"Saith" He almost bellowed but caught himself as he remembered she wasn't use to a lot of Klingon customs.

Saith finished plaiting her hair, deciding not to wrap it up she threw the end of her long braid over her shoulder. She smiled as she heard the outer door open, Maal was home. She stood and headed for the living portion of their quarters. Coming from the bedroom, she looked out towards the corridor doorway; catching a glance at Maal’s face. She paused for a moment, sensing he was upset. “What? What’s wrong?” she softly inquired from the hall doorway.

Maal turned to her:"I have just spoken with my father, he is at Risa now. Some filthy petaQ decided to kidnap Alex."

"Favdt! We can't do nothing! Let's go." Saith exclaimed her blood rising. She didn't know Alex well, but she admired Lee and knew that Alex was a good person.

"Luckily Lee and some of my father's men rescued her and ended up killing the man."

She moved to where Maal stood, and looked up at him. "So what do we do know?"

He looked down at her, his anger slowly easing up:"There's nothing we can do right now. My father's ship the Ya'Vang will be bringing Lee and Alex back to Star Base 400. They will leave at 0900 tomorrow."

Saith nodded slowly. "Okay, well, then, I guess we will just have to keep ourselves busy until then." She grinned at him. "Are you on duty or do you have some time?"

Maal looked down at her:"I have a couple days off. Why?"

She shrugged, "I don't know. Our last mission was exhausting and I thought we could take a short break." Moving forward she put her arms around his neck, " and of course spend some time together." She smiled.

Maal gave her a big smile showing teeth before putting his big arms around her waist:"Sounds good to me darling."

Saith smiled again and snuggled against Maal's big chest. She felt safe in his arms. "Then where should we go e'lev (my love)."

Maal smiled as he held her:"I could teach you some Mok'bara."
