Mission:
Mission 86 - Discovery
Location: Starbase 400, Ops
Timeline: MD2, 1100 hours, Following 'Council Members Arrive'
ON:
After returning to Ops, K’Wor walked over to Tactical One and relieved the Ensign that was manning the station. Once logged in, he looked over recent security communications, and one stuck out.
Reading it over, he knew how serious this could be, especially with VIPs aboard the Station. The report centered around a half Human, half C’Hakilian that goes by the name ‘Mörderin’. Mörderin is German for Assassin, and that seemed to be fitting given his rap sheet. Very little is known about Mörderin. He is credited with the assassination of over two dozen people...Human, Vulcan, Klingon, Romulan, Krazzle, Tralazar, Gorn, C’Hakilian, Bajorian, Ferengi, and others. Noted to be exceptionally skilled in several forms of martial arts and trained in the use of many forms of bladed weapons as well as energy weapons and demolition.
Mörderin had been last seen in the Alpha Quadrant two years before, but was suspected to have moved to the Beta Quadrant and taken up with Clark’s band of Pirates just before Clark was captured...but this could never be confirmed. Did he murder for money, political reasons, or fun, no one was sure. His victims ranged from Politicians to Military Officers. Scientists to Starfleet personnel.
There wasn’t even a confirmed image of Mörderin, but he was described as slender, average height, short hair, middle-aged looking, and there was no DNA on file either. Some called him a ghost...
K’Wor sent the information out to all Security and Marine personnel, as well as Roebuck and Sevlek, then to the Essex and Yorktown, as well as the other vessels of Starbase 400 that were out on patrol and others in the Kaleb Sector.
After a moment’s thought, he decided to do a quick station wide internal scan for any Human/C’Hakilians...and thankfully found none aboard Starbase 400. Perhaps it was just another unconfirmed or even false sighting, but he still wanted everyone to be as ready as possible.
He looked around for a moment, then decided now would be the only time he’d get to eat for a while, so he logged back out of Tactical One and headed for the Promenade.
