well another strange day in my life. i've fixed a power failure in a crew quarters, mended a faulty LCARS on deck 527. had a working history lesson while repairing the dilithium MARA on the mothballed 141 year old Constitution class USS Wasp and been briefed by LT F'lox on the work that needs doing on USS Yorktown.

bloody Yorktown. as people have said down the years, damn the defiant! from what i gather by the sparkies on board, she got caught in a electrical storm while on a rescue mission on shakedown which blew the tactical 2 station, injuring a crewmember and frying the computer core and most of the auxiliary systems. not bad for a days work. now we got to fix it ASAP, starting tomorrow. Coleman was on board as well as Fives lasky and our own DCS blackthorne. if those three had trouble, they did a proper job of screwing her up.

well im finishing the day up with a six-way poker match with engineering squad delta echo, gamma watch, consisting of myself, Ensign Walsh, Dye Heron, CPO's Watson and Truman, AB Travers and it's all hosted by Sivom Bok, a Ferengi barman from the Skyline lounge. buy-in's in 10 minutes. i better not be late.
