Personal log Andrew Clifford Recording.

We will be arriving at the Romulan border soon, so this will be a short log.

Looking around the bridge, everyone is getting with their work and keeping busy. The normal chatter has gone and all talking now is specific to the job in hand.
The Gladiator is still leading us towards the boarder on a patrol heading, so we will be running parallel to the border for a while. We can't detect the Lexington, but short range comm chatter confirms she is just off our port side.

It's strange being back on the bridge of a sovereign class starship, and the Admiral was right it is almost like old times.

We're coming up on the boarder now. Lets hope the Gladiator can distract the Romulans long enough for us to get across. At this position if it failes we would be able to fight our way back into Federation space, but it's not something I would like to have happen. People are depending on us.
