Begin Log

The Saratoga has been back at Starbase 400 for sometime now, and here i sit on the Bridge, reflecting upon our last mission. I am glad we were able to rescue those survivors we could from the Buraq, but what gets at me are those we could not save. They were somebody's loved ones, and they had their lives taken from. I know that serving in Starfleet, and in the Starfleet Marines, there is always a chance you may have to make the ultimate sacrafice, and i long ago accepted and understood that. I have seen a lo of death over my service in the SF Marines, and i have not, nor will i ever grow used to it. Because i think if one does, that they have lost a vital part of themself's, one which they may not ever be able to get back.
