Andrew Clifford walked down the boarding tunnel on to starbase 400. He stopped for a minute to look around. It looked just like every other starbase he had been on, but felt different. This one he enjoyed being on.

Slinging his bag over his shoulder he walked on to the station proper, and headed for the Admirals office. there he handed over his report, including as many details about the new class of Gorn ship as could be interpreted from the sensor scans of the three ships. The cloaking device was definitely something that could be used as a weapon against an unwary captain and crew.

Meeting over he headed for his quarters and a shower. He wanted to eat so as soon as he had cleaned up and changed in to civilian clothes he went out to his favourite restaurant, wondering if he would see any of the other officers from the last mission there as well.
