"Hoping for the Best but expecting the Worst"

***** Yamaguchi Quaters - USS Kearsarge *****

Torilla Yamaguchi sighed softly as she slipped off her
uniform jacket as she craned her neck to the left and
then to the right to break up the excess cartalage in
her neck as she sighed softy. Her thoughts turned to
Racheal who was staying behind on Starbase 400.

She sat down in a nearby chair as she plucked a sizeable
hairbrush from the desktop where she had left it this
morning as she began brushing her unruly mane of
hair into some measure of obediance, Hallians normaly
wore their hair in large flamboyant displays where as
she prefered ponytails and french platts, keeping her
short and out of the way.

She knew that Racheals accomodation issues had been
resolved but she feared her daughter wasn't ready for
the other issues that threatened to rise up in their stead,
she had met someone and now Torilla was admittedly
aprehensive about it but she truste her daughters
judgement and Racheal was her third child, Beth had
been here before and that relationship had blown up in
her second childs face and as a result, Torilla was
concerned.

Hallians generaly as a reule matured faster and earlier
then humans but they still had emotions and were thus
still able to fall prey to the same issues and concerns
as humans...

She sighed sofly. "Racheal... I hope you don't make a
dumb mistake.."
