Chief Medical Officer's Log

We have left the starbase on the Kearsage and are on our way to Cestus III. I have not been briefed on the details of the mission as of yet but our staff meeting is later today. Captain Clifford is nothing if not thorough, and I am curious to know why we have suddenly been sent to the far reaches of the border.

A strange incident occurred during boarding. Commander Lokran, Lieutenant Commander Yamaguchi, and myself were very nearly attacked by an ensign. Captain Clifford had to stun Lieutenant Colonel Hurd and the assailant while they were fighting. The ensign was arrested and is being held at the starbase.

An unusual omen for our unusually sudden mission.
