USS Endeavor – Underway at warp

The Nova-class Endeavor sped along at warp speed. Her marker beacons flashed is a steady, periodic beat. The glow from her nacelles provided a reassuring comfort that everything was going to be alright. The stars streaked by.

PERSONAL LOG ENTRY

“Assistant Chief Science Officer’s log, stardate 74029.6. LTJG. Matthew Plumeri recording:

Endeavor is on course and we are making best speed to our rendezvous point with the rest of the Starbase 400 task force. Captain Coleman is a rock of calm, and his confidence is giving other people the confidence they need to focus on the mission at hand. There are two areas that I can now attend to. One, is the annoying power loss from the warp reaction chamber. Two, is the shield emitter imbalance. I’m no engineer but I think these are two separate problems. Now that we are underway, I have excused myself to lead the repair teams and, as time permits, to check on the anomalous Kelab “B” planet that Lieutenant Janelle Sykes is working on.

Computer? End personal log and save it.”
