Definition of Treasure

Well, I just got back from an adventure to find the loot of a long since dead friend and scoundrel of one of my former host's, Azrel. This scoundrel was Zando. He needed my help to paint a map of where he would stash his loot so he could get back to it or someone he trusted could. I never knew at the time what his loot was.

Now I do. Books. Not any old books though. These were ancient works of fiction or poetry from many different worlds. Some of them were first editions. We are now working on what to do with the loot but it has made me think a great deal about the definition of treasure. Tomarn, the man who now possesses the map, seemed disappointed with the find and has since left me with the loot. I think Tomarn, precious metals and gems are all he saw as being a treasure but this is definitely treasure in the full definition.

I think I need to speak to the Starbase Commander on this so that the loot is properly handled.
