Though stabbed in the side, PO1 Ross refused to leave Battle despite heavy bleeding, not wanting to leaving the line short and due to the many wounded around, Instead, and as mentioned above, despite heavy bleeding and severe pain, PO1 Ross pulled the knife our, packed her own wound, and continued to treat wounded. This Marine, by devotion to duty, honor, and her actions in the field, went above and beyond the call the duty, disregarding her own welfare to save others. As a result of this, I belive that PO1 Ross is deserving of, and should be awarded this medal.

For his tenacity, courage, and leadership during Battle with the Remans I herby nominate Captain Kaden Ross. During this fight, besides his actions metioned above, he showed personal bravery, above and beyond, by contiously laying down cover fire, exposing himself to allow his men to both advance. These actions, in combination, I belive, make him deserving of this medal.
