Mission:
Mission 84 - Blockade
Location: Starbase 400
Timeline: Day after the Peace Agreement
OOC: Going to jump us ahead a little here so we’re ALL back aboard SB400…
ON:
It had been a day since peace was declared between the Krazzle and C’Hakilians. There had been a few minor incidences over night, but nothing major. It was a start…
The C’Hakilian Crown Prince was on his way to Earth to meet with the Federation President, and Mike had a strong feeling it was going to lead to either stronger relations or an all out alliance between the C’Hakilians and the Federation. When Mike heard Chancellor Martok and Legit Garak were also going to Earth, this only further strengthened his feeling…
The Pegasus, Venator, Sutherland, Tirpitz, and Gladiator had all returned to Starbase 400 after C’Hakilian ships took their positions in the blockade line. Another six vessels from the blockade would be docking later today, with another thirty-two coming tomorrow. Most would only be docked for a day or two for R&R before being reassigned.
There was also a group of Klingon ships that had arrived the day before. They would be heading toward the Federation/Krazzle/C’Hakilian area of operations and he made it a point to schedule a meeting with the CO of group’s Flagship, the IKS Sar’Cho.
He also was hoping to get a medical report on the conditions of General Jones and Ensign Brody and their mysterious illness. Even with Jone’s reassignment, Mike was still wondering what happened. Mike had pulled Brody from duty to get well, and while it could take some time, he was willing to give the time that was needed. However, it did leave a gap in the Security department, and while he didn’t like ‘removing’ Brody from the Assistant Chief position, it was necessary…and Mike already had someone in mind to fill the position.
As he headed for Ops, Mike sent a message for T’Lar, Lokran, and Baratan to meet him in his Office later in the day, and then another message to Vorak PirUp Pa Sa' to meet him after that.
A day full of reports and meetings… ‘Some things never change’ he thought to himself as he walked through Ops. The day to day monotony aboard SB400 sometimes brought even the Admiral down…
