Mike had finished putting on his dress whites and was getting ready to attend the decommissioning dinner and ceremony aboard the Enterprise-E. He looked over at Janice's closet, with her dress uniform inside. He was missing his wife terribly, and in that moment finally made up his mind. As soon as he knew the Endeavor and Saratoga and their crews were safe, Admiral Mike Bremer was going back to Earth to bring his wife home.

Mike looked over at his younger kids playing, with Master Sergeant Worth `babysitting` them. His oldest daughter, Becca, would be here shortly to help out. His oldest son, K`Wor, was aboard the Saratoga and while he was proud at the man he was becoming, he wished he was here to attend the events aboard the Enterprise-E too.

After loving his kids goodnight, Mike headed out for the Enterprise-E. The station's Senior Staff, those that were currently aboard the station, were all scheduled to attend, as well as the remaining Senior Staff of the Enterprise-E, those that hadn't already departed for their next assignment.

K`Temoc, Harrison, Pike, Mark, Greenwood, Gillo, Andrews, t`Khellian, Stryfe, and Watkins were all supposed to be there. It would be good for them, taking a little time to relax and unwind.

His Marine CO, Colonel Borodin had taken emergency leave, thus giving up his position, and was not on board, and the Marine XO, Colonel Rico had also left the station for a new position. So now, Mike was also tasked with finding a new CO and XO for the 1st Marine Division...

As he made his way aboard the Enterprise, Mike was met by his brother Captain K`Temoc and Commander Worf.

"Seems we're the first to arrive from the station." K`Temoc stated as Mike walked up.

Mike nodded, "I'm sure the others will be along soon." He then turned to Worf, "Had a chance to go aboard the Warrior yet?"

"I spent the afternoon aboard her. She is a fine ship." Worf replied.

"I'll meet you aboard at 0900 tomorrow to help you get things up to the specs of the Yorktown." K`Temoc added as Worf nodded.

Mike looked back down the walk way to see if anyone else was coming. Not seeing anyone, the three men headed toward the Enterprise-E's Officer's Mess where the dinner was scheduled to be held. As they walked, Mike outlined his plan to return to Earth.

"...so they know we're coming this time, no cloak, no sneaking." Mike said.

"I don't see Starfleet giving you any grief this time, but are you sure you just want to take the Pegasus?" K`Temoc replied.

Mike replied, "Neither do I, and no. I'm going to let Captain Greenwood know I want the new Avenger going, would be a good shakedown cruise for her."

"I'll bring the Yorktown along." K`Temoc added as the men stepped into a turbolift.

Mike nodded to K`Temoc. "I'm also going to have Captain Andrews and the Venator along as well."

"With all the Romulan activity of late, do you think it's wise to pull so many assets away?" Worf asked.

"I also thought about that. I will have you and the Warrior, as well as Geordi and the Challenger in the sector by then, as well as the Endeavor on her way back and the Saratoga and Vanguard back as well."

Worf nodded as they exited the turbolift.

"I'm really not expecting the Romulan or Tholians to take any provocative actions, not anytime soon anyway. Right now, they have enough on their plate with recovery efforts, tracking down the next possible defector, and making sure their borders are secure. Right now, they are just posturing." Mike commented as they entered the Officer's Mess.

The room was decorated for the occasion, and many pictures were on displayed of the ship and her famous crew from her construction though present. Captain Picard was already there...

"Admiral, Captain, Commander...welcome." He said with a smile.

Mike and K`Temoc each shook Picard's hand, and then were handed a glass of red wine...Chateau Picard of course. K`Temoc and Worf walked around the room looking at the pictures while Mike spoke to Jean-Luc. He wanted Picard's thoughts on his trip to Earth plans. His opinion mattered a great deal, being one of his mentor's though-out his career.

"After you last visit to Earth, I think taking a four ship task force is a wise move. I've heard many rumors of changes occurring at Starfleet Command in the wake of the spying incident. Not only Admiral Jellico's arrest and removal, but possibly additional changes coming." Picard responded.

"I figured as much." Mike paused to take a sip. "When are you planning to return to Earth?

"Well, since we're already going, I suppose I could hitch a ride aboard the Pegasus." Picard replied with a smile.

Mike smiled, "We'd be honored." He took another sip then looked back at the door to see who else would be coming...
