Slade held back while the others left, "Captain, your ranks may pose a problem." A slight pause, "When I was last there, my security clearance and previous rank were that of a Commander attached to the Romulan Intelligence Service. My disappearance for so long can easily be explained away to the service record the Romulans have for me which says my current assignment is of the highest classification."

K'Temoc paused, he wasn't sure if Matthews was trying to help, or if he was hiding something else...

"What's your suggestion?"

"I can easily get us into the place that would make it the easiest to render the vessel inoperable. But the problem will be that they'll be able to construct a new QSD system pretty quickly even if we destroy the ship. We need to get into the command center's offices to truly do the damage we want to. I have the access for that." Slade paused as he turned to look out the window, "I have a high-warp capable Type V Romulan runabout, an expansion of the standard shuttle, on the second moon of Chaltok VI. We could go to Gamma Crateris unmolested by Romulan vessels since the flight registry of the shuttle grants free passage within Romulan space. It's designed for a crew of 6. We could go under the guise of the rest of the insertion team as my crew who specialize in engineering and weapon systems who are being tasked with double checking functionality of the ship."

K'Temoc thought about the suggestion. Sure, it made insertion easier on their team, but the delay in changing course was a problem. It also wouldn't benefit the Security Team.

"Do you have remote access to the vessel?"

"Not this far away. Maybe when we get closer, I might be able to set up a remote link. But until we're closer to the Chaltok system, I won't know for sure."

K'Temoc nodded, "I'll inform the Admiral and get his take on it. Another option is to use that vessel as a decoy, if the situation calls for it. I'll let you know what he says."

K'Temoc then turned his attention to Coleman, who was standing by.
