Mission: Mission 83 - Recovery
Location: USS Lexington
Timeline: Following 'Away Team #1 Mission Briefing'

ON:

The Lexington had been at warp for about an hour. Bremer stood from the CO’s chair and walked around the Bridge for a moment. The lights were dim while the ship was cloaked. Mike glanced at a few of the stations before turning to Greenwood.

“You have the Bridge, I’ll be in the Ready Room.” Mike turned and headed for the CO’s Ready Room. It was vastly different than his aboard the Pegasus, but it was still comfortable.

He sat down and tapped his comm-badge. “Commander Lokran, report to my Ready Room please.”

"On my way, sirr." said R'nard. He made his way to the Ready room and soon was chiming the door.

“Enter.” Mike said at the door chime sounded.

When R’nard entered, Mike stood. “At ease.” He paused a moment to get his words right, “I want you to keep an eye on Ensign Baratan. I don’t think she’ll betray us, but I know you’re fully away of her…outbursts lately. If that was to happen on the away mission, it could be detrimental.”

"Agrreed, sirr." said R'nard. "I have been considering leaving her behind. One such outburrst would rrruin the mission. But I will keep a watch on her if she does go. If she backs out, I will let her, but if she doesn't...it will teach her discipline and contrrol."

"Don't get me wrong." Mike replied, "I think she could be a huge asset on this mission, playing a key role."

Mike then paused a moment before he brought up another concern. "The other reason I asked you here is, yourself. Obviously we can't make you appear Romulan. I have no doubt you'll be unseen and in the shadows, however I want to make sure that you won't leave anything behind....that you won't....shed."

R'nard laughed at that. "I have been trrrained to do just that." he said. "And I wasn't allowed to be what I am until I could walk on rice paper without brreaking it...or leaving anything behind. It's a matter of discipline. Not a hair will fall."

Bremer smirked, "Very good. Thank you Commander." As R'nard left, Mike sat at the desk in the Ready Room and looked over a PADD for moment before returning to the Bridge.
