Checking out the Lounge

Mission: Mission 82 - The Aggressor
Location: Starbase 400
Timeline: Just after 'Under New Management'

ON:

Roebuck had watched over Starbase 400’s Security needs while Lokran was away aboard the Kearsarge. He had heard there was a new Assistant Chief of Security, but he was at Earth aboard the Durga.

It had been quiet aboard the Station while so many of the Senior Crew was away. Roebuck had also kept an eye on Admiral Sevlek, but the Vulcan Admiral had rarely left their operations area on Deck Four. He had a Security Team, lead by First Ramata’tar make regular patrols of the area, and ever had remained quiet.

It was about 1600 Station time, and both were off duty.

“How are you adjusting?” Roebuck asked.

“This place is, different. When off duty, there is very little order.” Ramata’tar replied.

Roebuck smirked, “Just the way we like it.”

“Jem Ha’dar do not eat, do not sleep. I should remain on duty.” Ramata’tar said.

“Then why are you on your way to the Promenade?” Roebuck replied with a smile.

“I received this communication from Crumm Widdy, regarding the Skyline Lounge, saying I needed to appear within the establishment.” Ramata’tar held up a PADD to show Roebuck.

Jonathan Roebuck smiled, “That’s just an invitation, not orders. The Bolian just bought the bar, renovated it, and is having a Grand Opening.”

“Grand Opening?” Ramata’tar looked over at Robuck and asked.

“It’s when a business opens. They usually have sales and other specials, trying to bring in customers.” Roebuck explained.

Ramata’tar listened, then looked back at the Turbolift doors. He still didn’t fully understand though.

A few minutes later, the two were walking through the Promenade toward the Skyline Lounge. “I’m going to get something to eat and see what they have to offer.” Roebuck said.

“Jem Ha’dar do not eat.”

Roebuck smirked, “Then play a game, or look around?”

“Jem Ha’dar do not play games…however I will look around.” Ramata’tar replied as the two men walked into the Skyline Lounge.
