OFF: Ah the summertime slow down... Finals, vacations, etc. I understand posting is always a little slower in the summer, but please, let's not stop! Lol

I'm going to move us forward a little more. Crews on the Endeavor and Saratoga please post up about what's going on with your missions too!

Also, I want to give a warm welcome to SB400's new Chief Medical Officer, Centurion Suan t'Khellian (she's listed as a Lieutenant right now til I can get the right rank image uploaded)! Yes yes, I know...another Romulan... lol. Welcome to SB400 Darian!


ON:

Several hours had passed since Mike had met with Captain Greenwood aboard the new USS Avenger, and met with his Security and Marine department heads and execs. Since that time, Mike had met with the commanders of the defected Romulan ships and outlined how he expected their crews to behave aboard the station while they were at SB400, and then with Captain Picard, Commander Worf, and Commander LaForge.

The damage to the Enterprise-E was nearly all repaired already. Crews had been working around the clock since she arrived. And even with her decommissioning looming, she was going to show how proud of a vessel she is. Now, crews were offloading nonessential equipment such as torpedoes, personal weapons and equipment, personal belongings, medical supplies, etc. It was a sad time, and the offloading was moving slow. However Mike did have the pleasure of delivering some good news. Both LaForge and Worf had been selected for Command of their own Starships. Geordi was taking command of the Galaxy Class USS Challenger and Worf, fittingly enough, was taking command of the new Defiant Class ship built at Starbase 400, the USS Warrior. The USS Challenger would arrive in forty-eight hours for her change in command, while the USS Warrior had just completed her post-commissioning trials and was already docked at SB400, Dry Dock Six.

Following the meeting, Mike was on his way back to Ops when Captain K`Temoc caught up with him in a corridor...

"How's the Enterprise coming?"

Mike shook his head, "Damages are repaired, but offloading is slow. I can't imagine how the crew feels. I know if it was the Pegasus I'd be moving slow too."

K`Temoc nodded, "Same for me if it was the Yorktown. Did you get to Geordi and Worf about their promotions?"

"I did, both excited."

"Come on...Worf excited?" K`Temoc smiled, "You and I both know he doesn't get `excited`."

Mike smiled, "Well...excited for Worf." The brothers stopped at the turbolift doors and Mike pressed the button by the doors to call the lift itself.

"Rumor had it we also have a new Chief Medical Officer?" Captain K`Temoc asked.

Mike nodded, "We do. I'm actually on my way to meet with her in my Office now."

"And...she's a Romulan?" K`Temoc asked.

"She is."

K`Temoc shook his head, "And you trust her to be the Chief Medical Officer for the Station's crew?

Mike turned and looked at his younger brother, "I do. She's come highly recommended and I think the Centurion will be a good addition to the crew.

K`Temoc nodded, "You know I trust your judgment, but with all the trouble we've had from the Romulans lately." He trailed off for a moment as the doors to the lift opened and the two me stepped in. "Besides, you know some people are going to start asking questions..."

"Some all ready are." Mike replid.

The two road up toward Ops in silence for a few minutes....

"Any word when Janice will be back?" K`Temoc finally asked.

"No...Starfleet is still being quiet about it. If she isn't home by the time the Endeavor and Saratoga are back...I'm going back to Earth myself to get her." Mike replied, clearing angry that his wife wasn't home yet.

"Well, if that's the case, then I'm going with you." K`Temoc's face shown serious with his concern for his sister-in-law.

Mike patted his brother on the back as if to say `Thank you`. "Now if only we'd hear something from the Endeavor and Saratoga..."

The turbolift stopped as it reached Ops and the two men stepped out. Mike nodded to Captain Harrison as he passed and she followed him toward his Officer.

"K`Temoc, you have Ops. Please send the Centurion in when she arrives." Mike ordered as he entered his Office.
