Mission: Mission 82 - The Aggressor

With the Avenger and Kearsarge departing soon, Mike took a moment to look the intel from the incident with the Gorn. The mission was straight forward enough, stop anymore Gorn incursions into Federation Space, but to also attempt to find out why a Gorn ship had crossed the border and attacked a Federation ship.

Mike then glanced at the reports he’d received about the ongoing Krazzle / C’Hak war…but something seemed to be missing. The usual information was there, estimated casualties, ship losses, systems attacked, defended, and lost, however projected targets for each side, names of particular vessels and commands engaged in each battle, as well as a list of what Federation ships were patrolling the border. Mike had sent a secured and encrypted message to Starbase 349, asking Vice Admiral Liam Riskin what vessels they had seen heading for the Federation border. Several minutes later, the reply came, the list included four ship…none of which were on the report Mike had received from Admiral Sevlek.

Mike leaned back in his chair and took a deep breath. He knew now, for sure, he was being left out of the loop, not receiving all of the information regarding the Krazzle/C’Hak warzone. The question was, why?

Mike looked at the time and saw he was due to meet with Counselor Dallas soon. He knew he needed to keep that appointment, but he also needed to speak with Sevlek before the day was over.

Mike picked up another PADD as he left his Office.
