Mission:
Mission 82 - The Aggressor
Location: Deck 3, Section A1, SB400
Timeline: +4 hours concurrent
Sevlek walked through the office suite's doors and walked toward the Marine who had served under special attachment orders with him for several years now, "Colonel Andrenicus, report."
David put a large PADD down. It held the strategic breakdown of the battles fought so far by the Krazzle and C'hakilians. "We're completely set up here, sir. Ops has routed some specific communications and sensor controls for us."
"Very well, make sure you forward all non-CL3 and lower data to Admiral Bremer's office." Sevlek spoke as he authorized a PADD an aide handed him, then gave it back.
"Sir? Only CL3 and lower?" Andrenicus asked, a puzzled look on his face.
"I am authorizing him for full access to CL3 and lower."
David stepped closer and lowered his voice, "Sir, you realize that is going to cause a bit of tension."
Sevlek nodded, "I have no doubts that it will. However, direct orders from the President limit access to anyone outside of the operational team to CL3 and lower, unless I decide otherwise." Before Andrenicus could say anything else, the Vulcan added, "Until such time as I find it necessary, he will receive level 2 truncated reports approved by me."
The Vulcan flag officer couldn't outright say he was testing the other flag officer's patience, that would seem out of character. But, it would likely be an effective way to judge Bremer's state of mind.
"Understood, Admiral." Andrenicus moved back to the table in the center of the room. "I have an update on the battle over the Erednar system, for you."
Sevlek nodded, "The location of rich tekasite and dilithium deposits, as well as the mining facilities for them."
David nodded, "Yes, sir." He entered some commands on the console and the data sets changed to show numerical values. "I'm estimating that the Krazzle will take the system within the next 30 hours. They've got 12 more ships than the C'hakilian fleet in the system, with another 36 ships that will be on-site within the next 10 hours. The Krazzle want that system, sir."
"It will no doubt assist in repair and construction of vessel to great lengths." Sevlek read the data one more time, "Dispatch new orders to the U.S.S. Geneva. Have them move to," he pointed at a location on the map nearest to Erednar system, but still within Federation space, "these coordinates for information gathering."
The colonel nodded, "Aye, sir."
Sevlek looked back at the data and watched as new information was fed into the computer models via high-speed subspace burst packets.
